Scripting aptitude is a fundamental tool in your typical Mac admin's utility belt. This session will go over the basics of scripting in python, offer some examples of how python can help you with your day to day work, and will finish up with an interactive session to build prototype automation tools.
In this session we will take a look at the command line interface for some of todays modern operating systems. Primarily looking at the unix based command lines of Linux and macOS. We will look at some basic commands that can make the life of a systems administrator a lot easier both on the machine and in your deployment systems.
