Swift, Xcode, an App and You
Take some basic Swift skill from creating a Command Line application, to putting a UI on it all in this workshop. Some basic Swift knowledge is all you need, we’ll help you go the rest of the way.

We’ll start by discussing command line applications in Swift and how to make them, including the use of Process() to leverage other shell commands. Then we’ll create a GUI application in Xcode that incorporates your command line tool.

We’ll take time to articulate a framework of support. We will begin to identify partners, allies and confidants to accompany you. In small groups and dyads, we’ll explore ways to seek, build and maintain these relationships using meaningful conversations.
