Swift, Xcode, an App and You
Take some basic Swift skill from creating a Command Line application, to putting a UI on it all in this workshop. Some basic Swift knowledge is all you need, we’ll help you go the rest of the way.

We’ll start by discussing command line applications in Swift and how to make them, including the use of Process() to leverage other shell commands. Then we’ll create a GUI application in Xcode that incorporates your command line tool.

Remember: You've already reserved your workshop seat when you registered for the conference.  Adding this workshop to your schedule in Sched does not count.

Fold, spindle, and mutilate
Network printing, like much of IT, is simple in concept with devilishly difficult details your users will have no problem stumbling over. You've discovered lpadmin and config profiles for installing printers, but what about pushing or locking down features on them? Explore techniques for doing so along with things like discovering AD published printers on not-AD bound Macs and getting the Mac to hunt drivers for a printer hiding behind a server rather than making your users do it.

Breach -> ATT&CK -> Osquery - Learning from breach reports to improve endpoint monitoring
Large breaches like SingHealth's resulted in detailed public reports.
Using those, we will map portions of the attacks to ATT&CK, then see how to monitor for them using qsquery.
Though most of these public reports address breaches that touched Windows environments, we will translate the Windowsness into "what would that same technique look like on Mac?".
